Welcome to Our School

Portadown Independent Christian School offers an affordable, high standard of education in a Christian environment with a Christian ethos.
We are a privately run, fee paying Nursery, Primary and Secondary school administered by Portadown Free Presbyterian Church with an intake from a wide geographical area and occupy a recently opened, purpose built, building on a site close to the town of Portadown.
Our school is open to all parents who have an interest in the spiritual as well as the academic, personal and social development of their child. We provide a stable school society in which pupils are encouraged to equip themselves for their roles in later life as workers, citizens and parents.
Using the Northern Ireland Curriculum as its framework the school aims to base our curriculum on the teaching of the Bible and to create a caring and purposeful environment which enables all pupils to obtain the maximum benefit from their time at school, thus preparing them for a life of fellowship with God and service to others.

Have you considered Christian Education?
In Portadown Independent Christian School we offer you the opportunity to place your child in the care of Christian staff, in a Christian environment, with a Bible orientated curriculum.
Your child spends an average of 30 hours a week in school, for at least 12 years of their life. In a Christian school you can have confidence about what your child is being taught, and who is educating them, throughout these formative years.
